Final Day of Collaborate 2012

Well, today was a half day. After seeing the wife and daughter off at 6am I did some email work, then ate breakfast and came down to the final sessions. At 12:15 I participated in the Rise of the ExaMachine debate on the con side. It was an interesting debate since the other side didn't really come prepared for a debate. They kept essentially carping on the same tired arguments and doing veiled personal attacks (when you can't attack the argument, attack the speaker). Anyway some good ideas where put forth by both sides and in general a good time was had by the audience which was what it was all about. So ends the 2012 Collaborate conference. Next year it will be in Denver. Now, what to do in Las Vegas until my 10pm flight home?
